Marketing & Sales Operations

In 2012, I was working for Altec, Inc. and J.J. Kane Auctioneers and was tasked with leading an effort to implement a transformational vision and strategy for the business that would transform marketing, streamline auction operations, and set the foundation for growth.

As part of this effort, I was responsible for improving the processes, tools, and technologies that support our sales and marketing efforts. Our primary objectives were to improve the sales process and make important customer data and trends readily available to the organization.

We implemented Salesforce as our CRM system and HubSpot as our marketing automation platforms working through full life-cycle implementation, customization, and support. These efforts streamlined and the sales process making it more repeatable and predictable which helped to increase the size of our sales and attendance at the auctions.

I worked to build a new custom website that automatically marketed items from our inventory system along with an advanced SEO project to drive more organic traffic to the site. I also gained advanced knowledge of tagging, tracking conversion, and BI reporting with QlikView making valuable customer insights available across the organization.  

During this time, I also actively participated in the creation and execution of ongoing advertising strategies across all channels including print, SEO, email marketing, Facebook, Google, Twitter, Linked In, Instagram, and Pinterest.  I was also directly involved with branding and website content strategy utilizing market and internal data to help to help shape our approach.

Since leaving J.J. Kane, I have continued gaining valuable knowledge and experience become a certified Salesforce administrator in 2020 and working as a freelance consulting until July, 2022 when I became the Sr. Marketing Operations Manager at Evocative Data Centers.  At Evocative, I was responsible for marketing and sales operations, demand generation, website design and development and marketing analytics for a national data center company.
